Valleytown Residence - Where Quality of Life is Recognized

About Valleytown Residence

Valleytown Residence is located in the small historic Town of Dundas, Ontario at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment on the western edge of Lake Ontario. Our lovely historic home built in the 1800’s has been under new ownership and management since the end of 2021.

Our Philosophy

Our Home strives to develop the skills needed for independent living and to enhance the quality of life for the residents through the active participation of the person and community. We believe that quality of life is met when the resident is recognized as an individual with dignity and worth and given a sense of belonging and hope. The Home endeavors to support each resident in regaining control over his/her life and to become aware of maximizing their potential towards independence or the best quality of life. We believe that the employment of personnel should be based on their ability to function effectively in supporting individuals in need; personnel must be of good moral character and be willing to uphold the ethical principles of the facility.
